Players are continuing to experience problems related to hacked "level down" servers, which give extreme amounts of negative experience per kill or round that will generally reset players to single digit rankings. The problem had been known to exist on Xbox 360 as a result of jtag'd Xbox's, but now has also been reported on PC servers as well.
The problem has been brought to the attention to developers on the
Infinity Ward Forums, but as of now, no fixes or patches have been released to correct the problem. Keep checking back for more updates on the issue.
